Greek Island Moto / Terms of use
Terms of use
Last updated: July 2026 — these terms cover the directory and booking-request service; they will be updated before online booking and payments launch.
What Greek Island Moto is
We are a directory and introduction service: we list vehicle-rental shops on the Greek islands and forward booking requests to partner shops. We are not a rental company. Any rental contract, payment, deposit or dispute is strictly between you and the shop.
Accuracy of listings
Shop details (fleets, prices, contact information, opening hours) are compiled from public sources and updated periodically, but shops change things without telling us. Always confirm the details that matter with the shop before you travel. Price indications are not offers.
Licence information is guidance, not legal advice
Our licence checker and licence-requirement notes summarise Greek law in good faith and with sources, but rules change and your situation may differ. You are responsible for making sure you hold a valid licence for any vehicle you rent and drive. When in doubt, ask the rental shop or an official authority.
Booking requests
Sending a booking request creates no booking and no obligation on anyone. The shop decides availability and price and will contact you to confirm. We currently take no payment and charge you nothing.
Shop owners
If you own a listed business and want your details corrected, your listing enhanced, or your listing removed, email greg@gregarmstrong.com.au and we'll act promptly. We may edit or remove any listing at our discretion.
Acceptable use
Don't scrape the site at scale, submit false booking requests, probe or disrupt the service, or use our content to build a competing dataset. Short quotations with attribution are welcome.
Liability
The service is provided 'as is'. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for your dealings with rental shops, for inaccuracies in listings or licence guidance, or for any loss arising from use of the site. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, and consumers keep all rights granted by the law of their country of residence.
Changes and governing law
We may update these terms as the service grows (online booking and payments will bring a new version) and will change the date above when we do. These terms are governed by Greek law. Questions: greg@gregarmstrong.com.au.
